Burnright Attends Sootfest 2019

26 June 2019

The weekend of 25/26 May saw many chimney sweeps, installers and other descend upon Blackpool for the SootFest 2019 Expo. This event was hosted by Stove Industry Supplies at their head office and showroom.

Around 70 chimneys sweeps and others attended the event on the Saturday, with slightly fewer numbers on the Sunday, mainly due to the poor weather conditions early on. This however certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of those who made it.

The BurnRight stand remained very active throughout the weekend and Sam Hamer, owner of Stove Industry Supplies commented ” It is great to have the BurnRight campaign at our event supporting the trade and helping to further educate both chimney sweeps and consumers on the importance of using appliances and fuel correctly and helping to protect the environment”

Steven Howard who represented BurnRight added “The Burnright campaign roadshow has now attended all chimney sweep related events so far in 2019, and the response from both the exhibitors and those involved in the chimney industry who attended the SooFest weekend clearly shows how well received this campaign is amongst the trade. Many who attended the event had not come across this campaign, so it was a great networking opportunity to further spread the BurnRight message and get more individuals and traders involved. The responses certainly proved very positive”

“This campaign was only launched in March 2018, and in just over twelve months has made significant progress throughout our industry. Everyone involved has made a huge difference in helping to address issues relating to emissions from domestic appliances within the solid fuel industry. “

Many thanks to Stove Industry Supplies and SootFest for making BurnRight welcome, and thank you to everyone who took time to visit the stand and take advantage of the literature available. Together we can all make a big difference.

BurnRight will be hitting the road again on Saturday June 29 attending the logsdirect.co.uk  LogFest Open Day. Doors open 10.00am until 4.00pm
